Early Hawaiian human remains found right behind our cabin while plumbers readying for septic installation. Archeologists took over to carefully dig up, catalog, map, and excavate entire site. Bellows AFS is full of such sites of earliest settlers to Oahu circa 1500 . . . an area known for good fishing and its curative powers by the ocean. The evening of the day the remains were excavated, Hal was alone in the cabin and serenaded by three Hawaiians outside singing over the grave. A few minutes later, Hal thought he even heard a conch shell blown, but alas, it was just George's cell phone vibrating on the table!
